Chow chow is also known as chayote or mirliton. Preparing this healthy vegetable is quite quick and easy. This vegetable is very low in calories, sodium and rich in dietary fiber. Chayote is well recommended by many dieticians and good for weight loss. But if you are really concern about your weight you can skip adding coconut in this recipe.
